Brothers and sisters, I am pleased to be here today at the Flag Plaza in Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, where behind me you can see many of the flags which fly here representing all the nations of the earth where the Church has a presence. Our focus this week in Come, Follow Me is titled "God Is My Salvation," focusing on Isaiah 1 through Isaiah 12. And it's amazing that when this plaza was developed, the First Presidency felt that we should have this monument here with part of our scripture study for this week in it, which I would like to share with you from the book of Isaiah: "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, 'Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.'" Now, when you think that we're right here in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the beautiful Salt Lake Temple that's being renovated in the background, this is that place. It's amazing to think that clear back when Isaiah had this vision—and in the footnote to this chapter, it says that it was a vision—so, I imagine that Isaiah actually saw this scene of the Salt Lake Temple. And now, when you consider that we're having the open house soon to celebrate the renovation of this temple, literally all nations in the world are going to be flowing to Salt Lake City, Utah, to the mountain of the Lord's house. There's a few beautiful phrases in this that I want to just highlight: "Come ye and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob." That is the temple. And as we invite millions of friends and members of the Church to come to Salt Lake City for this celebration open house leading up to a rededication of this wonderful temple, already parts of Temple Square are opening. The south visitors' centers is already open for members of the Church, their friends, their neighbors to come and have an open house, if you will, of the temple that's ongoing all the time. I've had the privilege of taking my family through the south visitors' centers, and even my little grandchildren were so happy to be there and see the cutout of the Salt Lake Temple, and let me show them, "This is where your grandpa meets in this temple where we meet with the First Presidency and the Twelve Apostles." So, brothers and sisters, as you consider these chapters in Isaiah, remember that Isaiah saw them by vision. He saw this place. President Nelson said he saw this place. And we testify to all of you that as you study this in Come, Follow Me this week, literally think of the Salt Lake Temple fulfilling this prophecy in Isaiah chapter 2. I bear you my testimony that this is true. I love this temple. This is the temple Sister Rasband and I were sealed in. It's the temple that I received my own personal endowments in. And I love this temple and all of the many temples throughout the Church now that we're doing work for the living and for those on the other side of the veil. I leave you my testimony and my invitation to participate in this temple open house by going to your own temple, by rededicating yourself to the principles of the temple, and I do it in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
